I’m a 43-year-old mother of five who thought my life was set. I married my high school sweetheart at 20 and spent over two decades raising our kids as a stay-at-home mom. But at 42, my marriage ended, leaving me heartbroken and financially unstable.
In January 2024, at my lowest point, I decided to restart my virtual assistant business, which I had set aside three years before. With just a landing page and a list of contacts, I began again. Within days, I received my first message from someone needing an assistant. It didn't lead to a job, but it gave me hope.
This past Wednesday, I hit a milestone: I made $2,000 in a single day, more than I used to make in three weeks at my last job. This journey from confusion and heartbreak to financial stability is not just my story—it’s for anyone who feels lost and unsure of what to do next.
